LEAVE A LEGACYâ is a statewide public awareness effort to promote charitable giving through wills and estate plans. We encourage people from all walks of life to have a will and consider leaving a bequest to charity, and we provide them with information to facilitate the process.
We need your
organization and Board of Directors’ support and endorsement to promote the
LEAVE A LEGACYâ
CONNECTICUT
initiative. Please help us by
participating in at least two of the following ways: (Please check the ways you will participate.)
q Utilizing the outline and materials
provided, make a presentation to our
staff,
Board and members about LEAVE A LEGACYâ.
q Publish the
LEAVE A LEGACYâ news article in our organizational newsletter.
q Reproduce
the LEAVE A LEGACYâ logo slick in our
publications.
q Distribute
LEAVE A LEGACYâ
brochures to our constituency in person
or
through a mailing.
q Develop an organizational policy regarding acceptance of bequests.
q Speak to a group about charitable giving.
